thousands of people. A few quick pointers --
Do not spam message boards. That is, do not make a post
advertising your website and solicit members to visit your site.
- Avoid self-promoting language. Do
NOT indirectly draw attention to your website. All the members will see through what you
are trying to do and will simply ignore you.
- Contribute to the community. If you
are an expert on a particular subject, help out fellow members. They WILL visit your site
to check out who you are if you keep posting good answers!
- ASK questions to the community. When
you start a new thread, it adds new content to the board and will help other members too.
And yes - it can get curious members and lurkers to visit your site!

boards and mailing lists on the internet. Go to Google Directory or DMOZ.org and find out
